CLASS CONTENT: Meadowsweet Medicine…. Meadowsweet is a wonderful native medicinal herb and a firm favourite of herbalists. It is also the plant that Aspirin was originally discovered in. We will spend this day meeting this wild herb and making medicinal extracts for body and soul. We will make various treatments and home remedies including a pain-ease balm, a digestive tea, a demo of drying herbs and toddle along on a herb walk to meet fresh meadowsweet. All extracts made on the day are easy to make at home. No specialist equipment necessary.

OUR HOST & LOCATION: This class is kindly hosted by Julí Malone (Dingle Druid) in her workshop and beautiful garden in West Kerry. Vivienne and Julí deeply love wild herbs, and we also laugh a lot! We are very much looking forward to spending this day together with meadowsweet and each other. This class is taking place on the full moon. Julí hosts full moon ceremonies (take place ourdoors in the evening). For those of you who would be interested in this too, you are most welcome to book that via Juli’s website.

BRING HOME: Hand-outs of recipes & notes about meadowsweet, samples of some of the extracts (e.g. pain-ease ointment, oil extract, dried herb etc.) we make on the day.
